On Friday, November 14, we gathered for our Film Club in a warm company. This time we watched Lord of the Rings in English. You are welcome to join our Film Sessions every Friday at 5.30 p.m. at American Library 

Book Choice - Native American Heritage

November is Native American Heritage Month. American Library joins in paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans. This time we picked books about history of native people in the United States, their culture, traditions, music, crafts, dance, ways and concepts of life.

International Education Week Wednesday, November 11, 2015-Sunday, November 15, 2015, 2014

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

We encourage the participation of all individuals and institutions interested in international education and exchange activities, including schools, colleges and universities, embassies, international organizations, businesses, associations, and community organizations.

Training on Encyclopedia Britannica

On Wednesday, November the 12th, we learned about rules of constructing and editing article materials in Wikipedia with the aim to create the Ukrainian segment of the biggest Web Encyclopedia.
