Literary Birthdays - Toni Morrison (born February 18, 1931) - Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize-winning American novelist. Her novels are known for their epic themes, vivid dialogue, and richly detailed African American characters; among the best known are her novels The Bluest Eye, Song of Solomon, and Beloved, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1988.

Today American Library held a scientific discussion devoted to James Mace library-cabinet opening. James Mace was an American historian, professor, and prominent researcher of the Holodomor. His books, registers, writings as well as some of office furnitures are situated here also. We are looking forward to work with James Mace library hand-to-hand.

Book Choice - National Freedom Day
National Freedom Day is an observance in the United States that honors the signing of a resolution that proposed the 13th amendment of the nation's constitution on February 1, 1865. Abraham Lincoln, who was the president at the time, signed the resolution to outlaw slavery. This anniversary is annually observed on February 1.
