MAIN GOALS:
*Enable bright non-elite youth from underserved communities to gain proficiency in the English language and develop other communication skills.
*Promote better understanding of U.S. culture and society.
*Encourage appreciation of civic values through community service activities.
*Help students better prepare for educational and career opportunities that enable them to contribute to their societies’ development.
Since its inception in 2004, approximately 70,000 students in more than 85 countries have participated in the Access Program.
